Joint Investors

Joint investors are often spouses or spousal equivalents.  In order to invest as joint investors, you must either (a) both be accredited investors or (b) if you are not both accredited investors, then you may still invest but must certify that the amount you are investing  is no more than 10% of the greater of your combined annual income or combined net worth.

Trust

In order to invest through a trust, the trust must either (a) both an accredited investor or (b) if the trust is not an accredited investor, then the trust may still invest but you must certify that the amount the trust is investing is no more than 10% of the greater of the trust’s revenue or net assets for the trust’s most recently completed fiscal year.

Company

In order to invest through a company, the company must either (a) both an accredited investor or (b) if the company is not an accredited investor, then the company may still invest but must certify that the amount the company is investing is no more than 10% of the greater of the company’s revenue or net assets for the company’s most recently completed fiscal year.
